Shrig Solutions started as a mobile app studio and grew into a full product team for US clients. Today we're independent, focused on AI automation for small businesses, and expanding into Australia.
Our story
From mobile studio to AI automation
Shrig was founded in Kathmandu in 2017 to build mobile apps. In 2021 one well-delivered build turned into a long partnership with a US product company, and over five years our team took four products from idea to launch.
To support that work we grew a team of more than 30 people across mobile, backend, AI, design, QA and DevOps. We learned how to ship reliably, keep users happy, and run a product long after launch.
That partnership concluded in August 2026, and Shrig now works independently. We're putting everything we learned into one mission: making AI genuinely useful and affordable for small businesses.

Became the full delivery team behind Aquabuildr, then Hotnheavy, Doechain and Fishtechy.

Grew to a 30+ person team and shipped apps used by tens of thousands of people.

Our client partnership concluded and Shrig began working independently.

Bikram Thapa
Founder and CEO
Bikram founded Shrig in 2017 after years building iOS and cross-platform apps. He led delivery across a portfolio of US mobile, web and AI products with teams of up to 30+, and stayed hands-on with the code throughout.
He's now based in Melbourne, bringing that experience to Australian small businesses through affordable AI automation, and building Shrig's Australian presence.
